Howdy folks(both of you), Before the summer winds down and we concentrate on the next stage of Argento - in which big changes may or may not happen - we have a couple of gigs that we hope you'll mark in a diary and attend. Much grá Cúán --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fibbers, cave of mystery, 25th Anniversary Barbeque July 29th - 31st We play the Friday 29th slot with the excellent Primed and Sundogs. And a Ramones tribute i've never heard of called Psycho Therapy. Then on Sat 30th there's the awesome Clergy, Eyesclosed, Monaghan heroes I Like Ducks? and local heroes Puget SoundThe weekend rounds off on Sun 31st with Murder of Crows, Moesley, The Monday Club, and Ciara AllenOh yeah... and Silver Addictive. Cant have everything I suppose. Still though that's an awful lot of fantastic music in one hard rocking weekend! And you cant argue with the price €2 per evening and a late club till 3. for more info see www.gigsmartireland.com/forum2004/forum_posts.asp?TID=11597&PN=1------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Folly Fest 2005 - Rathouth August 12th-14th Pretty vague on details but we shall be playing this informal festival, along with the mighty Mike Got Spiked, Murder of Crows, I Like Ducks?, One More Outnumbered and Damn Junkie Deejays. More acts and details to be announced shortly.

Yeah Fibbers are fairly strict - especially this weekend considering its the festival and gigs will be on till the wee hours. I was thinking of trying to get an all ages gig organised in Blessington for GigSmart soon though... Just wondering if there'd be the market for it?

O'Connors in Blessington used to run all ages gigs... Dunno if they still would. It's all down to insurance, or more accurately the landlords willingness to ignore it.

oh O'Connors changed to the Lakes like a year ago and its also the only pub in blessington with bouncers....i dont think they do all ages gigs anymore but you could still ask....
